GaAs and InP Foundry Services
AmpTech provides III–V compound semiconductor foundry services. The electronic device technologies offered include Gallium Arsenide and Indium Phosphide, for electronics and opto-electronics applications.
AmpTech
offers customers a range of services and capabilities. These include:
- Manufacturing of new designs for fabless
customer - Fab transfer of established devices to provide
additional capacity for integrated device
manufacturers - Partial process / module fabrication to address
limitations in capacity at specific process steps
for integrated device manufacturers
Power Amplifier Products
AmpTech is developing the company’s own line of RF power amplifiers using a proprietary Indium Phosphide transistor technology. These products are expected to drive a new generation of power efficient OFDM transmitters, effectively doubling the connect time of 4G mobile handsets.
Financial Backing
AmpTech is a privately held corporation. Major financial
backers include Vantage Point Venture Partners, and key members of the
Company’s management and founding team. AmpTech is located in
